In July 2005, I was introduced to a local carpentry contractor that was struggling financially, running the business from the kitchen and a mobile phone. the business had continually struggled in the past and had run into debt with high risk strategies and few systems with which to run the business and as a consequence was only turning over £25K per month.

In just one year the business has been transformed. New strategies have been adopted, a new management team is now in place operating from a fully equipped office and staff and turnover is expected to exceed £1.2m this year. The contracts book is full and a plan of continued expansion underway.
